Talent and Performance Management Case Study

A large logistics company was on the verge of liquidation and buyout from private equity investors. To help them remain competetive, OCI Development Practice was brought in to help:

  • Better align pay with performance and potential
  • Manage shifts in leadership and compensation
  • Identify benchmark strengths
  • Realign the management reporting structure

We worked with the top 200 managers to assess their current performance with their compensation then cross referenced that data with that manager's potential. From this, we created a new form of metrics that the leadership team used to make some key changes in the organization's structure. Since the implementation, the company is now meeting its goals and the private equity investors divested their shares.
